The Project
IDANOC (Information and Disinformation: Analysing Normative Aspects of Online Communication) is a research project funded by the Autonomous Community of Madrid (reference number: 2022-1/HUM-24071), running from 2023 to 2028.
IDANOC investigates normative incentives in online communication, especially on social media and messaging apps. The project's ultimate goal is to better understand the linguistic, psychological, and epistemological processes that underline misinformation spread in online settings.

The DPERG reading group |
The "Digital Pragmatics and Epistemology Reading Group (DPERG)" has been running since the beginning of 2023 as part of the IDANOC project. We meet biweekly to discuss recent work on the pragmatics and epistemology of digital technologies (online communication, social media, AI, etc.), alternating between published work and work in progress.
The reading group is open to experienced researchers working in this field: send us an email if you want to participate. |
